Each game is composed of a series of deals, or rounds. Each round consists of 13 tricks, in which each player plays one card.
You should begin each round by making a bid, based on how many tricks you think you will take with your hand. You can also bet 'Nil' if you think you can avoid playing tricks. Your team will score points if you make your "Bid' & lose points if you fail to make your bid.
Once the bidding is complete, a card is led by all the players as per their turn. You must play a card of the suit that was led, if you have it. If not, you can play any card in your hand.
You should play a card of the suit that has been led. If you don't have the card of that suit, you should play the highest card of any suit you have. In this game the Spades ate the TRUMPS and it takes the tricks if you have the spades card higher than other player's Spased card or Spade card of any value if no player have player Spade in the round.
The player who takes the trick leads the first card of the next trick. No player may lead a Spade until Spades have been broken. |
