| Scoring is based on the size of the clusters cleared, the total
number of clusters cleared and the number of bonus pieces cleared.
Clusters are worth a base amount of points, based on their size: 3 hex cluster = 5 points
4 hex cluster = 10 points
5 hex cluster = 15 points
6 hex cluster (a "Hex Flower") = 100 points Once the base for the cluster is determined, it is multiplied
by the current level. For example, a cluster of three hexes on
level two is worth a base of 10 points while a Hex Flower cleared
on level three is worth 300 points. Clearing multiple hex clusters in one turn adds a bonus multiplier
to each cluster, equal to the number of clusters cleared. For example,
clearing two clusters of three on level one results in a formula
of (5+5)*4 = 40 points, where each cluster added a multiplier of
2. An additional bonus per cluster is also calculated, based on
the total number of Star Hexes cleared in each cluster. Each Star
Hex in a single cluster adds a multiplier of two to that cluster
only. So, if a single cluster of three hexes on level one is cleared
and two of the hexes are Star Hexes, a total of 20 points will
